Team Leicester at UKREiiF, Showcasing £3 Billion in Investment Opportunities

Team Leicester, a dynamic partnership representing Leicester and Leicestershire, is ready to take centre stage at UKREiiF, the UK's largest property convention. This prestigious event, held in Leeds from 21st to the 23rd of May 2024, provides a powerful platform for towns and cities to connect with leading developers and unlock investment potential.

Attendees at UKREiiF will be presented with a compelling proposition: over £3 billion worth of investment opportunities across Leicester and Leicestershire. From major regeneration projects to innovative development sites, the delegation will showcase the region's vibrant property scene to a national audience.

"We understand the financial challenges faced by local authorities," says Rob McGuinn, Chair of Team Leicester. "That's why we fly the flag and take the initiative to organise showcase events, supplementing the existing Leicester and Leicestershire events calendar. Our upcoming gala dinner for over 100 investors on Wednesday, May 22nd, is a prime example – all designed to stimulate interest and connect likeminded individuals."

Team Leicester was established with a clear mission: to amplify the region's voice on a global stage. "We secure our funding through our members," explains McGuinn, "and reinvest it entirely into promoting Leicester and Leicestershire's property scene. Our goal is to connect investors with the right opportunities and ultimately, bring prosperity to our region."

Mike, Director of Inward Investment at Invest in Leicester, shares his enthusiasm: "We're leading a large delegation to UKREiiF, excited to showcase the significant investment opportunities across the city and county. We'll maximise our time at the conference, engage with the industry, and highlight the many benefits of locating to Leicester and Leicestershire."

Team Leicester's presence at UKREiiF underscores the region's commitment to economic growth. By attracting significant investment, the partnership aims to create jobs, bolster infrastructure, and ultimately, unlock the full potential of Leicester and Leicestershire.
