International investors will see more than £3bn of investment opportunities throughout Leicester and Leicestershire presented to them at a global real estate conference held in France.
A small delegation from Team Leicester and Invest in Leicester will go armed with a recently updated land and property prospectus, which highlights forty key investment opportunities, spanning the length and breadth of the city and county.
A key project to be promoted is the extension to Pioneer Park, a partnership with Leicester Council and Leicester University to provide a hub for technology, innovation, science, and knowledge-led industry. The hub has been an enormous success attracting multiple operators and is now set for further expansion. Further office space development opportunities in the city will presented, including the waterside office enterprise zone and the Leicester Station Quarter development with the aim of increasing grade A office space in the city.
Opportunities within the county will include the Free Port, appealing to manufacturers and logistics operators, whilst complementary M1 corridor sites will also be showcased. The enterprise zones at Charnwood, Loughborough and Mira technology park will be a significant feature for the delegation, highlighting the opportunity to locate a business among some the finest resources and technical minds in the country.
Invest in Leicester is the public partnership between the city and county council, promoting the region as the place to locate and grow a business.
