Due to the cancellation of MIPIM for the past two years, the last time Team Leicester attended was in 2019.

 

The Team Leicester delegation consisted of some 20 public and private sector sponsors who joined together to highlight the huge scale of developments, expansion plans and the physical space opportunities in the region, under the theme, ‘Space for Growth’.

 

Leicester’s growing space-related industry was simultaneously brought to the forefront through one of the most talked about events at MIPIM. Planetary Scientist, Pro-Vice Chancellor at the University of Leicester and winner of the 2017 BBC Two television program ‘Astronauts, Do You Have What It Takes?’, Dr Suzie Imber delivered an outstanding key note presentation about space.
